Lower Collection Bags for Every Dust Collector
AFF offers custom heavy duty canvas collection bags to fit any OEM dust collector, breathable felt bags when you need extra filter area, and disposable plastic dust collection bags that fit most dust collectors including Delta, Dustek, Grizzly, Jet and other OEM machines.
What a Collection Bag Does
On a single stage dust collector, dust and chips from the table saw, sander and other machines in your workshop enter the drum, the heavy debris falls into the lower collection bag and the air passes out through the upper filter bag. The collection bag holds the waste until you empty or replace it, so it has to seal tight at the ring and stand up to repeated filling and dumping, or fine dust escapes back into the shop.
The right lower bag depends on your upper bag. If your top filter has enough cloth area to move the air on its own, a solid canvas or plastic collection bag is all you need. If it does not, a breathable bag adds filter area while it is empty. Pair it with the right dust collector filter bags for the best airflow and filtration across your whole dust collection system.

Breathable Lower Collection Bags
A breathable bottom collection bag is used when you have no room to oversize the top filter bag. While the bag is empty, the system benefits from the extra breathable square feet of material. As the bag fills with dust, you lose that added benefit, so we recommend this option only when you cannot increase the filter area of the top bag. For fine dust, a larger upper filter bag is usually the better fix.
Our breathable bags are 16 oz polyester felt, singed on one side and scrim supported, with an air permeability of 20-40 CFM. Belt loops for a clamp are sewn at the open end.
Heavy Duty Canvas Collection Bags
When you can oversize the top filter on your collector, you no longer need the bottom collection bag to pass air. Our non-breathable lower collection bags work like a plastic bag, with no air released through the material, but they are reusable instead of disposable.
These heavy duty canvas bags are built to handle the repeated on and off dumping of dust from the system and are designed to outlive your machine. Belt loops for a clamp are included at the open end.
Clear 6 Mil Plastic Dust Collector Bags
Our clear plastic dust collector bags are 6 mil thick and come in two popular sizes: 21″ diameter x 49″ long (33-1/2″ flat width) and 24-1/2″ diameter x 72″ long (38-1/2″ flat width). They are available in 5-packs or cases of 50.
The bags are tough enough to stand up under constant use, save time by eliminating repeated dumping and make shop clean up quick and easy. They are compatible with most single stage dust collectors, and a strip of closed cell foam gasket around the ring helps seal them.
