How It Works

Where High Temperature Silicone Tubing Is Used

AFF offers woven and nonwoven high temperature fabrics and high temperature silicone rubber tubing. Our silicone tubing is manufactured to exacting standards from our formulation of high temperature silicone.

Industrial silicone tubing is commonly used to convey liquids, air or gases, and to protect wires and hoses from a high temperature environment. Silicone holds its flexibility where standard rubber compounds harden or break down from heat.

For connectors, covers and filtration in hot process areas, we stock woven and nonwoven materials made for high temperature applications.

Applications

Common Hi-Temp Uses

  • Conveying hot liquids, air or gases

  • Protecting wires and hoses near heat

  • Connectors in hot process areas

  • Covers for equipment near heat sources

  • High temperature filtration media

Hi-Temp Fabric

Woven and Nonwoven High Temperature Fabrics

AFF stocks both woven and nonwoven materials used in high temperature applications.

These fabrics are made into connectors, covers and filtration parts that have to hold up near heat. Tell us the operating temperature and the job, and we will match the material.

Need it fabricated? Our custom production team can sew the fabric into the part you need.
